Affiliate

Affiliate membership includes not-for-profit institutions and government agencies having an educational mission. Non-United States optometry schools may apply for affiliate membership. United States optometry schools are not eligible for associate or affiliate membership.

Schools from Developed and Developing Countries

 Annual Dues:

  • Developed Countries:  $2,500
  • Developing Countries: $1,000

Benefits:
  • Invitations to observe ASCO Board of Directors and Annual Meetings
  • Use of the title “Affiliate Member” -- Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry
  • Listed as an Affiliate Member on ASCO’s web page, www.opted.org
  • Directors/deans receive ASCO publications such as “Optometric Education”, ASCO’s on-line journal and “Eye on Education”, ASCO’s electronic newsletter
  • Participation in the International Optometric Education SIG meeting s
  • Opportunity to submit news items for publication in ASCO publications
  • Invitation and attendance at ASCO Annual Leadership Luncheon
 
 
Government Agencies

  • Participate as a Liaison on the Government Affairs or other appropriate committee (i.e., Residency Affairs, ORMatch)

Annual Dues: $1,000
